Q: Can I be present at the photoshoot to style my garments?
A: Absolutely! We recommend that you be present to style your garments as you like. Prior to the shoot, we can discuss stylistic direction and settings that can show off your unique product. If you would like us to style during the shoot in your absence, we will make our best effort to do so according to your instructions. However, we cannot guarantee that they will be exactly how you would style them yourself, and this will be for an additional fee.
Q: How do I prepare my products for the photo shoot?
A: To save time at the shoot, all garments and products should be "photo ready." This means garments must be clean, pressed, and ready to shoot; products should be clean and free of imperfections as much as possible. We have a steamer and iron available for touchups during the shoot. Other imperfections may be removed using digital touchup in post production.
Q: How many pictures do you take of an item? Can I choose which one I like?
A: Depending on the setting and product we will take several shots. For shoots with models we may take several dozen images of a model wearing the garment. You will receive all the images and can select which you want to use.
Q: I know what I like, but I don't know how to create the best look for the shoot. Can you help?
A: Yes we can. Our creative team includes art directors and stylists that can help tell your story using visual design of the shoot and styling. We can show you samples of previous work and can also hire a stylist or art director for your project.
Q: Do you have furniture or sets at the studio? I want to create an environment. Can I bring my own?
A: We can create environments using sets, items of furnitures, walls & dividers, and lighting effects that we have on hand. Others can be designed and custom-built especially for your shoot, or rented from set rental providers. You may also bring items to the shoot to help create the set.

Q: Can I take a disc at the end of the shoot?
A: Digital images from the session are in Raw camera format. Raw image files need to be processed into tiff or jpg files that can be used by graphic, web and printing applications. Large photo shoots require a good bit of processing time and images may not be ready till the next day. Small shoots can be processed during or after the shoot.
Q: What's "Digital Processing?"
A: Digital photography involves a series of processes where the lighting, color, tone and other qualities of the image can be controlled during and after the shoot. Some of the process is done in camera, some using the capture software on the computer that is tethered to the camera, and some in post-production digital software. Digital processing is art as well as science and requires expertise in photography software and hardware.
Q: Is there a fee for digital processing?
A: Depending on your shoot, the photographer, photo assistant, or a digital technician will perform digital tech operations during the shoot, as well as post-processing after. During digital processing, color correction, light and tone adjustments are also performed. This ensures realistic flesh tones, truer colors, and good detail in shadows and highlights. Digital processing and tech fees pay for the expertise and time required to create the best images for your products.
Q: Are the images I get from you good enough for posters and large prints?
A: We use state of the art digital equipment, including high resolution digital cameras. Images are high enough resolution for large posters and exhibit displays. Even larger images can be produced using larger format cameras that may be rented.
